The Commitment to a Path
During my internship, I worked closely with the sustainability, design, and purchasing teams, leading weekly meetings to propose sustainable materials and ideas for future collections. I contributed to the "Hello Paper!" project, which eliminated plastic from Mango's packaging.
I was also responsible for drafting internal and supplier guidelines to monitor the sustainability of each garment. In collaboration with Boglioli, I ensured the sustainable sourcing of mother-of-pearl buttons for coats. Additionally, I worked with the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI), where I helped integrate BCI cotton into Mango's supply chain by ensuring compliance with sustainability standards.
Mango understands sustainability as a journey that fashion must undertake in pursuit of a fairer society and reduced environmental impact. In 2002, it pioneered the industry by establishing a Sustainability Department, responsible for shaping Mango's sustainability roadmap.

Wholesale & Merchandising
Year
2023
During my internship at Lacoste as a Wholesale and Merchandising Trainee, I took on both analytical and creative tasks. My main responsibilities included daily analysis of the SS25 collection, working in the showroom with clients, and participating in the decision-making process regarding which pieces of the collection would go to market. I collaborated with the Paris headquarters, providing insights on future product directions for upcoming collections, ensuring that feedback from the wholesale side was considered in the development of future lines.
During my time at Lacoste, I developed a deep passion for product development, becoming increasingly curious about the intricate process behind creating new collections. Gaining insight into the lifecycle of each collection—from conception to execution—reinforced my drive to see projects evolve and come to life. This experience also highlighted the importance of strong analytical abilities, as understanding numbers and results is essential to achieving successful, impactful outcomes.

I am currently working with Bosque Modelo Risaralda in Colombia on a four-month scholarship, participating in various sustainability projects. These initiatives focus on collaborating with indigenous communities and women in coffee plantations, aiming to enhance sustainability practices and protect the region’s biodiversity. Additionally, I led workshops with women to share insights into the tea and infusion industry, traveling to different communities to demonstrate how to create and blend infusions for various benefits. The goal was to spark curiosity in this sector and showcase its potential for financial empowerment.
This experience has been a profound challenge, one that has strengthened my resilience and given me the courage to overcome obstacles. It has equipped me with new skills and the ability to thrive in a completely different environment, where I’ve learned to adapt to new situations and gain a deeper understanding of diverse cultures. It has also highlighted my love for tackling new challenges and has further developed my communication and team work skills.
